Since the Suspiria remake was announced some 10 years ago, its eventual release has been awaited with some excitement and much trepidation. But with the release of its teaser trailer early this summer, our fears were lessened. And with this week's arrival of a full-length trailer, we’re officially creeping into excited.

The trailer opens with Chloë Grace Moretz (co-starring as Patricia Hingle) sharing her horrifying experience from the beginning of her entrance into Madame Blanc’s (Tilda Swinton) dance academy. As Susie Bannion (Dakota Johnson) will soon discover, there are some terrifying things happening inside the walls of the academy she’s dreamed of joining for years.
This full trailer offers a deeper glimpse at the horrors that await Susie, from bondage-inspired costumes to rather more major terrors–cults, horribly distorted bodies, and even murders. If we were Susie, we wouldn’t trust anyone. Even the seemingly innocent young dancer played by Mia Goth, who discovers a secret room.

In some ways, this trailer seems vastly different from the original, while clearly paying homage to its roots–sure, the colors may be dimmed in the 2018 Suspiria, but there’s still a heightened focus on red in each and every frame.
